Carlton confirmed that TeleChoice will continue as a premier partner of the Club as the official ball sponsor for a further four years

The TeleChoice logo will feature on the football for all Carlton home games until the end of the 2012 season, as it has done during the last two seasons.

“We have enjoyed a wonderful association with TeleChoice since the start of the 2007 season and we are pleased that this successful partnership is continuing. This new agreement will provide an association over a minimum of six years,” said Carlton CEO Greg Swann.

“This is an important long-term partnership for Carlton and TeleChoice and this sponsorship ensures Carlton will enter 2009 with partners for all key sponsorship properties. This is always a very positive position and even more so in the tough economic climate we are in,” added Swann.

Ehab Abdou, TeleChoice CEO, said the company was excited to continue as a partner with Carlton.

“Carlton had an exciting season in 2008 and we are proud to be aligned with such a well-respected club.

“By continuing to be a premier partner of the Carlton Football Club, TeleChoice lives up to the slogan of the ‘People’s Choice’, by supporting initiatives that are relevant and of high interest to the people of Victoria and across Australia.

“We have exciting plans fro the sponsorship, with major events and initiatives for fans and members alike, that will help them and Carlton build closer relationships with TeleChoice,” said Mr Abdou.

The sponsorship also includes advertising, hospitality, player involvement and events. A feature will be the TeleChoice commercial with Jarrad Waite and Andrew Walker that will be played on the big screen prior to Carlton home games in 2009.

TeleChoice is the number one Optus premium dealer in Australia with over 120 stores nationwide offering a wide range of mobile phone and broadband products and services.
