CARLTON will call upon the talents of Zac Williams at the MCG this Sunday.
Among two changes for the Blues’ Heritage Game against the Hawks, the boyhood Bluebagger will return and pull on the collared jumper for his first match in four weeks.
Reinventing himself as a forward in 2024, kicking 14 goals in seven weeks before sustaining a hamstring injury early against the Western Bulldogs.
His return is a timely one for the Blues, who will welcome Williams’ class in attack as they look to get back to winning form against the Hawks.
The other inclusion is Lachie Cowan, with the young defender returning to the senior side in what has been a breakthrough campaign for the 19-year-old: he will play his 14th game of the season so far.
The duo replace the injured Adam Cerra and Matthew Cottrell.
Jaxon Binns, Jack Carroll and Lewis Young have been named emergencies, while the five-man bench consists of Jordan Boyd, Alex Cincotta, Matthew Kennedy, Matthew Owies and Williams.
The Blues will name their sub at 12:10pm on Sunday — an hour before the bounce.
