THE Carlton Reserves have made four changes to the team which will take on Essendon today at Windy Hill.

In the second instalment in a big day of Bombers-Blues action, the Blues are able to call upon some defensive reinforcements in the hunt for their second win of the VFL season.

After missing last weekend through injury and illness respectively, Sam Durdin (concussion) and Dom Akuei are back in the side.

They’re joined by former Essendon VFL player Tom Phillips as well as 23rd player Kristian Ferronato as the inclusions.

Initially named on Friday to make his VFL Blues debut, mid-season recruit Cooper Lord has been managed, as he looks to make his first appearance for his new club after next week’s bye across both AFL and VFL competitions.

Jack Carroll and Corey Durdin are out of the side due to their AFL selection, while Dane Harvey and Archie Stevens also make way.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7 in Victoria from 2:05pm.
