LUKE SAYERS will continue as President of the Carlton Football Club until the end of 2025.

Blues members voted to pass the Ordinary Resolution at Thursday night’s AGM, approving the extension of Sayers’ Term of Office for a further 12 months.

“Our sole purpose as a board, and as President of this club, is to serve in the best interests of the Carlton Football Club,” Sayers said.

“We still have a lot of hard work to go to get to where we want to be, and I am both humbled and grateful to the members, who have entrusted me to continue to serve as their President and lead this football club into the next phase of our evolution.

“We commence 2024 as an incredibly stable, united football club, and together, we are ready to embrace any challenge that will inevitably come our way this year, knowing we have the support of the hundreds of thousands of Bluebaggers right across the country as we do all we can over the coming years to bring success to this football club.”
