CARLTON has made four changes for its clash with Great Western Sydney on Saturday afternoon.
Imogen Milford will return to the lineup for her first game since Round 9 in season seven, looking to utilise her 182cm stature and contested marking to increase scoring opportunities in the Blues’ forward line.
Paige Trudgeon also makes her first appearance in 2023, with the defender selected to make her return after being sidelined with a knee injury for the majority of this year.
Trudgeon played 19 out of a possible 20 games in 2022, proving to be one of the Blues' most consistent defenders, leading with her intercept and contested marking ability.
Jess Good and Jess Dal Pos will both miss the game against the Giants due to injuries sustained against Collingwood.
Ciara Fitzgerald and Maddy Hendrie were both omitted from the side, with the duo being named as emergencies for Saturday.
Brooke Vickers is back in the starting lineup after being a late out from last week’s side, passing her fitness test during the week and Keeley Skepper rounds out the inclusions after missing Round 7 with a hip injury.
The Blues are looking to bounce back after their 17-point loss at IKON Park last week, and are looking to make it two wins from two interstate trips this season.
Carlton has had the upper hand over Greater Western Sydney in the past, with the head-to-head currently standing at 5-1 in favour of the Blues.
