Carlton fans will find out who will be next to don the Navy Blue jumper when the NAB AFL Draft gets underway on November 24 this year.
The AFL has today announced this year's draft will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre – the sixth time the event will have been held outside Victoria since its inception in 1986.
AFL Chief Executive Gillon McLachlan said it was exciting to be moving the NAB AFL Draft to Adelaide.
“I thank the South Australian Government for their continued support of the AFL and for their commitment to stage the 2015 Draft,” Mr McLachlan said.
“The nature of the event allows us to review the location every few years and it is exciting that another city, and another market of fans, will be able to witness the NAB AFL Draft live.
“The AFL industry looks forward to descending on the great city of Adelaide in November when we welcome the next wave of talented footballers into the 18 clubs.
“I also acknowledge the NAB, the naming rights partner for the AFL Draft for over ten years, and the entire Rising Star Program.”
