CARLTON has named its VFL team for the Round 19 VFL clash with Collingwood.

Returning to the scene of last year’s elimination final victory, the Blues have named six changes to the team which triumphed over the Borough last week.

Due to their selection in the AFL win over Collingwood, Marc Pittonet and Caleb Marchbank come out of the side, as does Corey Durdin, who came from the ground with a shoulder injury last weekend in his VFL return.

The Blues will also be without captain Ben Crocker, who is injured, while Michael Lewis and Jack Maruff have been omitted.

The Blues can call upon the inclusions of five AFL-listed players, with Zac Fisher to play his first game in over a month after a hamstring injury.

Ed Curnow will also run out for the Carlton Reserves, marking what will be his 50th VFL game after being drafted to the Blues as a star of the state-league competition at Box Hill over a decade ago.

Carlton’s backline will be sured up with Lachie Cowan and Lewis Young included, while Josh Honey also features.

Rounding it out from a changes perspective is the debut of 23rd man Hugo Nosiara, a 19-year-old small forward who impressed in the 2023 Talent League season with the Dandenong Stingrays.
