JESSE Motlop will take to the field for Carlton against Port Adelaide.

Playing against his dad’s old side for the first time, Motlop has been called up to the Carlton line-up in place of Matthew Owies.

Owies has been withdrawn from the side due to calf tightness. 

The like-for-like Motlop has been in strong form for the Carlton Reserves in recent weeks, averaging 22 disposals and two goals a game in the last three matches.

Paddy Dow remains as substitue.
