Chris Judd will make his much-anticipated return from injury, while Jeff Garlett has been omitted.
Hawthorn has two inclusions, bringing in David Hale and debutant Ben Ross.
Billy Hartung has been ruled out with an elbow injury while Luke Lowden has been omitted.
The match mark’s Brock McLean’s 150th AFL game, and will be the 700th game Mick Malthouse has coached.

MICK MALTHOUSE
Tonight Mick is due to become the second man in VFL/AFL history to coach 700 games. His illustrious coaching career includes 135 games including with Footscray, 243 games with West Coast, 286 games with Collingwood and so far 35 games with the Blues. The only other man to reach this mark was Jock McHale, who coached 714 games for Collingwood between 1912 and 1949.
HERITAGE GUERNSEY
For the second time this year, the Carlton players will don the Carlton Football Club's Heritage Guernsey. The guernsey replicates the uniform worn by Carlton players during the Club’s most successful period from 1927-1997.
BROCK MCLEAN
Tonight Brock McLean will play his 150th AFL game. After 94 senior games at Melbourne, McLean made his debut for the Blues in Round 1 in 2010. He is the fourth member of his family to play senior football at Princes Park, joining his uncle, great-uncle and grandfather who have all donned the Navy Blue guernsey.
ANTHONY KOUTOUFIDES – AFL HALL OF FAME
Prior to tonight's game at 7:20pm, Carlton great Anthony Koutoufides will be honoured on the ground for his recent induction into the AFL Hall of Fame. Koutoufides will be joined by his three children. Last week, Carlton great Ern Henfry was also inducted into the Hall of Fame.
DAVID PARKIN MEDAL
Former Carlton coach and Hawthorn great David Parkin will tonight present a medal named in his honour, to the player he judges to be the best on ground. The medal will be presented in the team rooms after the match, to a player who demonstrates exceptional leadership, presence and team values.
