THE CARLTON Reserves have named their team for today’s Round 12 VFL clash with Essendon.

Taking place at IKON Park in the lead-up to the King’s Birthday Rivalry Clash at the MCG, the Blues have named a heavily changed line-up to the one that enjoyed a narrow win over Frankston.

All up, there’s been a handful of changes to the Carlton team, with Zac Fisher and Lochie O’Brien to both feature from an AFL standpoint.

There’s also a return for dynamic forward Ned Cahill, who missed last week due to injury, while youngsters Patrick Dozzi and Hamish Sinnott have also been recalled. It will be Sinnott’s first game since his VFL debut late last year.

Of the AFL emergencies, Jaxon Binns and Paddy Dow won’t feature, while Ed Curnow and Jack Martin come out of the VFL team due to AFL selection. Caleb Marchbank (soreness) has been managed, while Tyreece Leiu also comes out of the lineup.

After strong showings last week, David Cuningham and Lachie Fogarty will once again have big roles to play in midfield at the feet of Hudson O’Keeffe, who enjoyed his best game of the season last weekend as the first-choice ruckman.

The Round 12 clash kicks off at 2:05pm and will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
