Carlton's lengthy injury list could be halved this week with a number of players in contention to return for Friday night's clash with the Tigers at the MCG.
Sam Rowe is almost certain to take his place in the side after a stiff back saw him become a late withdrawal from the game against the Western Bulldogs.
Andrew Carrazzo (toe), Sam Docherty (hamstring), Troy Menzel (knee) and Andrew Walker (knee) also missed the Bulldogs game and all will be tested at training this week.
Meanwhile scans have revealed that the injuries suffered by Patrick Cripps (ankle) and Andrejs Everitt (knee) in Saturday's match were not as bad as feared and both are likely to play if they get through training.
The Blues will also be bolstered by the return of vice-captain Bryce Gibbs from suspension.
