THE TEAM has been released for the VFLW Round 2 clash.
There are three changes from the Round 1 side that defeated Port Melbourne as Carlton prepares to take on Geelong.
AFLW-listed midfielder Brooke Vickers will make her way into the side, looking to build a solid foundation ahead of the 2023 AFLW season.
Libby Hosking and Chloe Bain will make their 2023 debuts, with Hosking playing her previous two seasons with Essendon VFLW while Bain joining Carlton from the Box Hill Hawks.
Annie Lee will not take the field due to illness, whilst Lulu Beatty and Joyce Dunne will also miss this week.
Geelong suffered a nine-point loss to North Melbourne in Round 1 and will be hungry to redeem themselves against Carlton on their home turf.
Kicking off at IKON Park at 11:00am (AEDT), it is sure to be a spirited affair from the first bounce.
