Chris Yarran has been suspended for three matches.
The Blues defender, who had a clean tribunal record before Saturday’s incident, pleaded guilty to striking Essendon’s Paul Chapman.
The suspension means Yarran will miss Carlton’s matches against St Kilda, Collingwood and Brisbane.
