THE CARLTON Football Club has acquired an additional first-round selection in the upcoming 2023 AFLW Draft.
The Blues have completed a trade with Essendon that will see the Bombers give up pick No.9, in exchange for Brooke Walker.
The 28-year-old spent five seasons at IKON Park, and split her time last season between AFLW and playing NRLW for the Parramatta Eels.
The trade now sees the Blues currently hold selections Nos.5, 9, 23 and 41 in this year’s draft.
The 2023 AFLW Draft will be held on 4 April.
