During the final Summer Sessions podcast, Sam Walsh spoke about how his recovery has been progressing.

4:40 — The nickname ‘Worpa’ and its origins. It may not be the greatest story of all time, but it’s now Carlton canon. Shoutout to JB.

5:50 — The famous (infamous?) celebration against Collingwood which was accompanied by an expletive wasn’t actually Walshy. Shoutout to Cotters.

7:45 — While Walshy loves providing joy to supporters and he loves his footy, he’s noted for his white-line fever. He’s working on it.

9:50 — The household chat begins. Walshy doesn’t love losing, particularly at chess. Matt Kennedy is, allegedly, an underrated chess player — although I’m not sure he was rated in the first place.
