THE CARLTON Reserves have named their team to take on Collingwood in an official VFL practice match tomorrow.
The last time the two VFL sides met, Carlton had a 32-point win in the 2022 Elimination Final.
There are a host of familiar names alongside some new recruits who will suit up at 2pm tomorrow at IKON Park.
Ben Ronke joins the forward line from the Sydney Swans, while Liam McMahon will have a sense of déjà vu as he faces his old Collingwood teammates for the first time in Navy Blue.
It will also mark Luke Power’s first outing as Senior Coach as the VFL Blues look to build on a successful 2022 campaign which saw them reach the Semi Finals.
15 AFL-listed players have been named in the team including draftee Jaxon Binns and SSP signings Alex Cincotta and Hudson O’Keeffe.
Players listed across both the AFL and VFL sides (Lochie O'Brien, Matt Kennedy, Lachie Plowman, Josh Honey, Alex Cincotta and Alex Mirkov) will have their game time managed to ensure they play enough minutes across both games.
The VFL practice match takes place directly after the AFL Carlton v Collingwood practice match, with free entry through Gate 6 at IKON Park.
