WELCOME TO Summer Sessions – a podcast hosted by Carlton Media where we find out what is really going on at IKON Park.

Pre-season is officially in session, and for the first to fourth year players, things are definitely heating up.

To kick us off, we have the delightful trio of Corey Durdin, Jesse Motlop and Jack Carroll to give us some insight into what life is like at Carlton, their bond as housemates and teammates and maybe start a few rumours along the way.

Listen below or wherever you get your podcasts.

38:30

0:12 - Welcome to Summer Sessions. Corey Durdin ('Durds'), Jack Carroll ('Bot') and Jesse Motlop ('Mots') grace the mics on our first ever episode.

0:42 - Icebreaker question: consider the ice broken.

1:03 - Will the ‘Baby Blues’ become a media sensation in the YouTube landscape? Look out, Sidemen.

3:03 - He hates the name Bot, but it is well and truly too late. Just like fetch, ‘Caz’ will never happen.

4:38 - All interstate boys, the three went their separate ways to spend the off-season with their families.

9:12 - Draft chat: the trio wind back the clock and reminisce on their draft stories. Included is Mots putting Michael Voss on hold, and Bot getting antsy when his future best mate got called before him.

02:13

15:10 - First day of pre-season is always exciting, but the running isn't according to Durds.

17:32 - Pre-season cliches: who’s looking good? Who’s in their best-ever form? JackED Carroll makes his podcast debut.

19:40 - Trackside fail: Durds may have contributed to Marc Murphy missing an extra game in 2021.

20:48 - The boys fancy themselves as influencers, even models in @deadlymotlop's case. Also, do you think this looks like Bot?

23:53 - Rumour file: Durds isn’t shy to hide his love for Mots, while we still don’t really know anything about David Cuningham.

28:08 - Top threes, starting off with some stingy money tips. Bot got some inspiration from one of the best to ever do it, things get icy when talking about housework contributions, and a wholesome note to finish off when it comes to their greatest individual football influences. Shoutout to Harry Taylor.
