A DEBUTANT among three inclusions.

Carlton has named its team to make the trip to Henson Park to take on GWS.

It was confirmed earlier on Friday that Taylor Ortlepp would play her first AFLW game, with the former basketballer becoming the eighth player to pull on the Navy Blue for the first time in season seven.

Joining Ortlepp among the inclusions are Darcy Vescio and Paige Trudgeon, providing the Blues with a boost at both ends of the ground.

Both Vescio (finger) and Trudgeon (concussion) passed their fitness tests during the week, after missing last week’s loss to Melbourne.

With the above duo returning from injury, elevated train-on player Christina Bernardi is unavailable, while Charlotte Hammans and Imogen Milford have also been omitted from last week's team.

This Saturday’s game will mark the 50th AFLW outing for Gab Pound, with the inaugural Game Changer chalking up the milestone in the Navy Blue guernsey where she has become a fan favourite.

As the Blues aim to celebrate Pound’s milestone with a return to the winners’ list, they do so against a Giants outfit who they’ve enjoyed a happy record against: the Blues are undefeated against this weekend’s opposition, dating back to the first season of the competition.

The Round 6 clash begins at 12:10pm AEST from Henson Park, and will be broadcast live on FOX Footy and Kayo.
