It’s all part of the regular working week for Carlton’s Property & Logistics Manager Adam Ruggiero.
Adam has been manning the club’s behind-the-scenes Twitter account @LifeatCFC this week, giving fans an insight into daily life at Carlton.
Life in the Property Department is certainly never dull. From being in the rooms on game day, to behind the sewing machine or out at the beach with the team – which proved to be somewhat of a “fiery” encounter this week.
“I left some towels in the dryer of the club laundry before heading down to the beach with the boys” Adam explains.
“When I returned the dryer was smoking. We called the MFB and evacuated the building. Thankfully no one was hurt, although the towels were a little overdone.”
