THE STABILITY at the Carlton Football Club will continue in 2009 with the three directors who re-nominated being the only nominations received by the Club at the 5:00pm deadline on Friday, November 14.
The three directors who re-nominated; Stephen Moulton, Zac Fried and Ari Suss will be elected unopposed for a further term at the Annual General Meeting of the Carlton Football Club in December. All three were delighted with the confirmation of their ongoing roles with Carlton and look forward to continuing to represent the members of the Club and to work with fellow directors to provide the leadership and support to assist Carlton to build for sustained success, on and off the field.
The 2008 meeting will be the 144th Annual General Meeting of the Club and will be held in the Yarra Park Room at the MCG on Thursday December 18, commencing at 6:00pm.Carlton Football Club Members who attend the Annual General Meeting, to be chaired by President Stephen Kernahan, will see new Life Members admitted to the Club and will be presented with a summary of the financial statements for the year ended October 31, 2008.
The official financial reports will be published on the Carlton Website prior to the meeting.
