Marc Murphy has talked exclusively to CFC TV about the “rollercoaster” season that was in 2013.
In what was his maiden season as Carlton captain, Murphy took time out to reflect on the home and aways and the finals series before embarking on his post-season holiday.
“I suppose it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster sort of year . . . it’s been a challenge, but through the last month and half we were playing some really good footy . . . ,”Murphy said.
“There have been some good signs and we’ll take that into next year . . . ”
Murphy also talked of the influence of Michael Malthouse as Senior Coach and of his own responsibilities as an AFL footballer. He closed with a personal message to all Carlton Members and supporters.
