CARLTON’S triumphant win over the Bulldogs has seen five standout Blues recognised in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award votes.
Harry McKay topped the list with 10 votes for his efforts against the Bulldogs, edging out Patrick Cripps who added seven votes to his own tally.
The dynamic forward was among Carlton’s best in the 44-point victory, finishing with four goals and an incredible 11 marks (five of which were contested).

Sam Petrevski-Seton finished with seven votes for his breakout performance, in which the silky midfielder collected 35 disposals and seven clearances in the Blues' first victory of 2019.
Young midfielder Zac Fisher and defender Lachie Plowman both received nods for their efforts, with four and one votes respectively.
Fisher was handy through the centre, racking up 28 disposals and a goal to finish a key contributor to the Blues' midfield dominance.
Lachie Plowman was a pillar of the backline, a key component of a defensive unit that held the Bulldogs to just 57 points.
The last round of votes pushes Cripps to first on the 2019 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award leaderboard, behind his Round 5 opponent Marcus Bontempelli.
