GREAT SOUTHERN Bank have further entrenched themselves into the Carlton family, committing as Co-Major partner of the Game Changers for the next two seasons.

Great Southern Bank is well known to Carlton fans as the Co-Major partner of the AFL team and the Club is thrilled to now see them become an integral part of its AFLW program.

Great Southern Bank look after the financial needs of more than 381,000 Australians and have been doing so for over 75 years and this sponsorship will see their logo proudly placed on the back of AFLW guernseys for the next two seasons.

Also, as part of this exciting partnership, all existing AFLW members will receive free membership for season seven which is set to begin in late August.

Carlton CEO Brian Cook praised Great Southern Bank as an important part of the Carlton Football Club believing it is great to have them formally support the Game Changers.

“It is wonderful to be able to extend the Club’s partnership with Great Southern Bank to include the Co-Major partnership of our AFLW team for season seven and beyond,” Cook said.

“We know this is something Great Southern Bank have been wanting to do since they joined forces with the AFL side in 2018 and we are elated that the opportunity has become available.

“They will be providing complimentary memberships to all existing AFLW members for the upcoming season and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity in this regard.

Great Southern Bank CEO and Managing Director Paul Lewis says the organisation had been waiting for an opportunity to achieve gender balance in its AFL commitment for some time and couldn’t be happier with the collaboration.

“This is the first time Great Southern Bank has had an opportunity to sponsor the Game Changers since first partnering with the Carlton Football Club in 2018,” Mr Lewis said.

“When the sponsor rights became available, we were ready to seize the opportunity to show our commitment to gender inclusiveness and this extension to our sponsorship couldn’t have come at a more exciting time in the AFLW journey.”
