Carlton's Sam Rowe has heaped praise on his teammates after the thrilling five-point win over Adelaide at the MCG on Sunday night.
The Blues won 12.9 (81) to the Crows 10.16 (76).
Rowe, who notched up 15 disposals in the Round 10 clash, says the entire team rose to the occasion when it mattered the most.
"I think that everyone stood-up when we needed to," Rowe said.
"We had a bit of a lapse in the third quarter, but I thought that everyone stood-up when we had to."
Rowe has played in eight of Carlton's games so far this season, earning accolades from coach Mick Malthouse for playing with heart across the backline.
The 26-year-old says defender Michael Jamison has been a mentor and offered him guidance in his defensive role.
"Jamo's probably the one," said Rowe.
"He's played his whole career down back and he's a very good defender. I work with him pretty closely and with JB (John Barker) - with all the coaches really."
Rowe says that while it's important to celebrate the wins, his focus now lies on Saturday's upcoming clash with Brisbane at the Gabba.
"It's nice to get a bit of a run, but I'm focusing on each week and I don't want to get too ahead of myself. I'm obviously enjoying the challenge at the moment."
