AFTER a solid display at Footscray which saw the side get its third win of the season, Carlton will return to IKON Park on Sunday where it plays North Melbourne.
Following a stretch of three away games, the Blues will once again play at home in what looks to be a crucial match for both clubs’ respective seasons.
Carlton’s strong connection with the Northern Knights will come to fruition with two new inclusions in the side following last week’s NAB AFLW National Championships.
Brooke Plummer and Rylie Wilcox will both debut this weekend after impressing for Vic Metro. Both players will look to put their stamp on the game as they continue their journey towards the elite level.
Plummer and Wilcox are in for what appears to be Carlton’s biggest game of the season to date, with Carlton and North Melbourne having almost identical seasons up to this point.
The Kangaroos are also coming off an impressive away win at Port Melbourne and they will also be looking to take their win tally to four for the year.
The match starts at 10:30am this Sunday at IKON Park.
