A WHIRLWIND ten rounds have come and gone and so the predictions begin, with Carlton’s AFLW Best and Fairest awards night fast approaching.
It was a year of breakout performances, as household names were joined by fresh young talent.
Darcy Vescio handed the leading goal-kicker baton to Courtney Jones, seasoned Game Changers Kerryn Harrington and Gab Pound marshalled the defensive line alongside the up-and-coming Paige Trudgeon, and the young midfield brigade of Maddy Prespakis, Abbie McKay and Mimi Hill fired on all cylinders.
Breann Moody put together another stellar campaign, while Lucy McEvoy was as consistent as ever.
So, who takes home the highest honour?
The Game Changers will be celebrated with the following awards:
Best and Fairest Award:
The award reserved for the best-and-fairest player over the course of the season is the Club’s highest individual honour.

4 votes – outstanding performance
3 votes – excellent performance
2 votes – above expectation performance
1 vote – expected performance (trademark game)
A player can receive a maximum of four votes from four coaches, giving a maximum of 16 possible votes each round.
