WHEN it comes to the Australian professional sports landscape, very few have the unique insight and experience of Chris Judd.
Judd - a former Carlton captain and current board member - will be a program presenter at the Carlton College of Sport.
The Carlton College of Sport is a unique learning program offering a Higher Education Diploma in Sport Coaching and Development in collaboration with La Trobe University.

“My role as a program presenter for the Carlton College of Sport will be sharing some of my experiences across sports marketing, sports business and then as a player as well”, Judd said.
“I was lucky enough to be a professional footballer for 14 years. I’ve dealt with lots of different sports marketing agencies, served on the Carlton Football Club board and also own my own sporting business.
“To be able to package up all of those learnings and deliver them to the students is something that’s going to be a lot of fun”.

Students can expect to hear from Judd as part of the Sport Marketing subject, one of right core units that form the level 5 qualification. This provides a full year's credit towards La Trobe’s Bachelor of Sports Coaching and Development.

Based at Ikon Park, the one-year course will give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in practical work experience within an elite sports environment, giving them the best chance of securing employment in the sport industry.
