The Blues will run out for the last time this season when they take on the Giants at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
With the return of the skipper Patrick Cripps and the farewell of Eddie Betts and Levi Casboult, there is a lot on the line for Carlton.
If the Blues can go out of 2021 on a high, they can take some confidence and lessons into the following pre-season.
Blue focus:
It’s a big game for the Giants, who are looking to solidify a spot in the top eight to play finals.
Tim Taranto had an impressive performance last weekend against the Tigers, slotting four goals, while the returning Josh Kelly gathered 32 disposals and 11 tackles.
These are two players Carlton need to keep a keen eye on, with the two finding some impressive form around the ball in recent weeks.
Having Cripps back in the midfield will definitely bolster the Blues' chances, while young gun Sam Walsh will also have a big part to play.

The opportunity to bounce back and send off some favourites in the right manner is the opportunity for the Blues this weekend.
There'll also be a nod to the future, with five Blues taken across the last three drafts to run out for the second straight week.
With Sam Walsh a proven quantity at senior level and Liam Stocker having secured a permanent berth in Carlton's side since Round 6, the 2018 draft class members will be joined from Brodie Kemp and Josh Honey from 2019 and Corey Durdin from 2020.
It will double up as the first senior game which Kemp and Durdin have played in Victoria, after debuting last weekend at Adelaide Oval.
Blue view:
Eddie Betts and Levi Casboult will wear the Navy Blue one last time this Saturday.
Eddie Betts will finish up on his 350th game, having kicked 638 goals over 17 years and solidifying himself as a beloved figure in AFL history.
Levi Casboult will finish on his 154th game for the Blues, slotting 154 goals since he was drafted in 2011.
It will be an emotional occasion watching these two veterans play for the last time.
