This theme which has spanned across AFL Sir Doug Nicholls Round, and AFLW Indigenous, celebrates the sporting legacy of First Nations people in the game and beyond spotlighting defining moments, people and stories across every AFLW Indigenous Round.
The game is stronger when First Nations players are at the heart of it. Their excellence goes beyond football ability, reflecting resilience, culture, community and belonging making the game more exciting and meaningful for everyone.
