Signed to Carlton as a replacement player just days before the 2021 season commenced, the former basketballer would have to wait until season six to get her chance at AFLW level.
She took to the competition immediately, performing big roles as a last-line key defender on some of the competition’s best forwards to ultimately be named as Carlton’s Rookie of the Year in season six.
Missing just one game through injury across the two 2022 seasons, Trudgeon is once again expected to be a key member of the Blues’ defensive setup, alongside the likes of leaders Kerryn Peterson and Mua Laloifi.
