Speedster Jaxon Binns arrived at IKON Park after being selected by Carlton with pick No.32 in the 2022 NAB AFL Draft.
The Dandenong Stingrays product finished second in the agility test and third in the two-kilometre time trial at the draft combine, with Binns’ main weapon being his running capacity and being a good option for his teammates.
Whilst he didn’t get to the highest level in 2023, Binns had a stellar season in the VFL, where he played 17 games for Carlton Reserves.
Being selected in the VFL Team of the Year and winning the Carlton Reserves Best and Fairest award, Binns certainly did his best to hone his craft against some bigger bodies, giving himself the best chance to debut at the AFL level.
Binns re-signed with the Club until the end of 2026 after his positive start at IKON Park.
