Few could have expected Eddie Betts’ Carlton homecoming to pan out as it did in 2020. Betts was on fire to start life off as a Blue for the second time, kicking 10 goals in his first six games and producing match-winning cameos against Geelong and the Western Bulldogs. While his scoring dried up with rapid fire games coming in quick succession, Betts finished with 15 games to his name and is now on 199 games in Navy Blue. His first game for the season, in front of Victorian Bluebaggers once again for the first time, is one to mark on the calendar.
