CARLTON has welcomed a trio of inclusions for Saturday’s trip to Giants Stadium.

Returning to action on the back of last weekend’s bye, the Blues have announced their team of 22 for the Round 14 clash with GWS.

Included in the line-up is Lachie Fogarty, who was managed for Carlton’s last clash against West Coast after previously playing every game for his new club since the beginning of the season.

He is joined by first-year Blue Luke Parks for his first game since Round 9, as well as Matthew Kennedy.

It will be Kennedy’s first showing since Round 5 against Port Adelaide, with Saturday night’s clash to come against his former side.

As forecast earlier in the week, both Harry McKay and Nic Newman have been named after getting through the mandatory 12-day protocol following separate incidents of concussion a fortnight ago.

Will Setterfield has come out of the line-up after suffering a fractured metacarpal in his hand during training.

It was confirmed today that surgery would not be required however he will be sidelined for the next 2-3 weeks in order to allow the injury to recover.

Matthew Cottrell and Marc Murphy have been omitted.

After being activated as the medical sub in the clash with the Eagles, Jack Newnes has also been omitted, but is one of four emergencies for the weekend’s game.

Newnes is joined by Levi Casboult, Lochie O’Brien and potential debutant Sam Ramsay as the emergencies.

The game presents another milestone for Eddie Betts, who will elevate his already grand standing in VFL/AFL history when he joins the top 20 for all-time games played with 342.

Paddy Dow will also play his 50th game.

Saturday night’s game from Giants Stadium kicks off ay 7:25pm, with the game to be broadcast live on Channel 7 in Victoria.
