DIRECTOR of High Performance Andrew Russell has confirmed that Charlie Curnow will need a month of full training before featuring in the selection mix.
Curnow has continued to make strides in his recovery in recent weeks, integrating into more drills in his comeback from a knee injury.
With the Blues now back from the mid-season bye, Russell said it would continue to be a cautious approach with the enigmatic forward.
“Charlie Curnow continues to progress really well,” Russell said.
“He’s back out there doing skills, which is great. Everyone is excited to have him on the track… he trained for an hour and a half [on Wednesday].
“He needs a month at least of full training, and then at that time we’ll assess and see when he’s ready to be out there on the footy field again.”
