The Carlton Football Club has made an additional list change after informing Winnie Laing she would not be offered a new contract for next season. 

The midfielder spent one season at IKON Park without making a senior AFLW appearance, after being selected with pick No.36 overall in the 2020 NAB AFL Women’s Draft.

Blues GM of Women’s Football Brett Munro thanked Laing for her commitment to the Club over the last 12 months.

 “We could never question Winnie’s effort and her enthusiasm to be around the football club and for that we really thank her,” Munro said.

 “Unfortunately with the need to turn over your list every year these difficult decisions need to be made but we wish Winnie nothing but the best for the future.”
