THE need for speed.

Carlton has turned to a pacy duo for Sunday’s clash with West Coast at the SCG.

Playing his first game since Round 2, Zac Fisher returns to the line-up after recovering from ankle surgery.

He will be joined in the line-up by Paddy Dow, who was adjudged best afield in last week’s reserves scratch match against Sydney.

Fisher will no doubt be looking to match the personal landmark when he returned from a lengthy layoff against the Eagles in 2020, producing a career-high four goals in the process.

Coming out of the side are Michael Gibbons (hamstring), Lachie Fogarty (managed) and Levi Casboult, who has been omitted.

After starting last week as the medical sub, Marc Murphy takes his place in the 22 for Round 12.

The Blues’ sub will be confirmed on Sunday an hour before the bounce, with one of Casboult, Fogarty, Jack Newnes and Luke Parks to take on the role.

Eddie Betts will achieve a significant milestone in the second instalment of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, playing his 341st game: he officially goes past Andrew McLeod to sit third for most games by an Indigenous player in VFL/AFL history.

Sunday’s clash begins at 3:20pm.
