FOUR Carlton players have received AFLCA votes on the back of their performances in the 23-point win against Hawthorn. 

Unsurprisingly, Sam Walsh topped the votes, polling nine votes in his team-high 30 disposal game. 

Walsh also managed seven score involvements, six tackles and 17 contested possessions - the second highest in his career.

Walsh now sits on 44 AFLCA votes, which puts him in fourth place, with Clayton Oliver (52) sitting first. 

Sam Docherty received eight votes for a solid performance in which he rotated through the midfield and half back.

It is the third week in a row the co-captain has polled votes, relishing in his new position up the ground. 

Docherty gathered 26 disposals, as well as contributing 11 contested possessions, five score involvements and five tackles. 

Fellow co-captain Patrick Cripps also polled, with the skipper receiving four votes for a physical performance. 

Cripps was particularly valuable in the contest, laying an outstanding 10 tackles, as well as gather 12 contested possessions and five clearances. 

Zac Williams rounds out the votes, receiving three votes for a commendable performance across half back in what was arguably his most consistent performance for the Blues so far.
