LIAM Jones has been nominated for the Round 6 Four 'N' Twenty Mark of the Year.
Jones was a constant presence down back for the Blues on the weekend, recording eight marks from his 17 disposals in the defeat to Brisbane.
The best of those came in the final term, with the defender doing everything possible to prevent Brisbane from adding to its score as Carlton chased a comeback victory.
After a long ball on centre wing, Jones rose above two of the tallest players on the ground - Oscar McInerney and teammate Marc Pittonet - to soar for a customary hanger.
