THE TEAM is in for the VFLW Blues’ Round 5 clash with Hawthorn.
Carlton will take four changes into the clash this Saturday as it looks for its third-straight win after a successful fortnight.
The Blues will be without the AFLW-listed Brooke Vernon and Maddy Guerin, who both sustained injuries during last week's win over North Melbourne.
Vernon suffered an ankle injury early in the first quarter and is expected to miss two weeks, while Guerin sustained a concussion in the dying stages of the game.
Carlton will also be without the experience of vice-captain Jen Lew with he veteran sidelined with an ankle injury.
AFLW-listed Jess Edwards will also miss the Round 5 clash.
Young Blue Charlotte Hammans re-joins the VFLW side this week after featuring in last week’s AFLW win over Gold Coast at Metricon Stadium.
Hammans features alongside fellow AFLW-listed Blues Serena Gibbs, Courtney Jones, Paige Trudgeon and Winnie Laing.
The match kicks off at 2.00pm this Saturday 27 March at Ikon Park and is open to supporters!
