UPDATE: The AFL has today confirmed crowd capacity in Victoria will increase to 75 per cent ahead of this weekend’s Round 2 AFL matches.
This allows up to 75,000 fans to attend Carlton’s clash with old rival Collingwood at the MCG on Thursday night – the Club’s first home game of the 2021 AFL season.
Carlton members with access entitlements will need to redeem a $0 ticket via Ticketek during today’s member pre-sale.
Members wishing to sit with other members must ensure all tickets are redeemed in the same transaction using each member’s individual barcode number – a transaction limit of six tickets applies.
- Enter each barcode number on a new line within the box.
- Remove any spaces, commas or other invalid characters.
Members are urged to act quickly by redeeming their $0 ticket as close to their on-sale time as possible to secure the best seating available.
Following the member pre-sale, non-members will be able to secure their tickets from 1pm Wednesday via the general public on-sale.
It will have been 586 days since the Blues’ last AFL home game in Melbourne with Bluebaggers in the stands, so the Club can’t wait to have the Carlton family back together as one.
Here is everything you need to know about being at the ’G for Carlton’s first home game of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
MOBILE TICKETING
- Members will not be able to use their membership card to scan into Thursday night’s match.
- For physical distancing and contact tracing purposes, members will need to redeem their own individual $0 ticket via Ticketek in the lead up to the game.
- After completing the redemption process, members will only be able to access their ticket via their personal Ticketek account – not their Carlton membership account.
- There is no need for members to print their ticket – they can be scanned from compatible mobile devices.
- The Club strongly recommends that all members without a Ticketek account create one here prior to their on-sale period commencing.
- For more information on mobile ticketing click here or contact Ticketek on 132 849.
GAME DAY
- There will be no gate sales at the MCG on game day – all tickets must be redeemed/purchased online through Ticketek.
- Carlton’s Club Hub will not be available at Thursday night’s game.
- A customer service window will be open for any ticketing issues.
