A TRIO of Navy Blue stars.
Three Blues have featured in the AFLW Team of the Week for impressive performances in Carlton’s Round 7 clash with Fremantle.
Carlton names feature in every line of the week’s team, reflecting a complete contribution across the ground despite the narrow loss at Ikon Park.
Co-captain Kerryn Harrington was named among the league’s best defenders for the week, her efforts in the backline consistent throughout her second season as skipper.
Harrington made a strong case for best afield for her side on Sunday afternoon: the experienced Blue collected 21 disposals, nine intercepts and 434 metres gained.

Moving through the midfield, Breann Moody was the second Blue to be acknowledged in the Team of the Week for her dominant ruck performance.
Sharing the load with third-gamer Serena Gibbs, Moody created opportunities with her impressive tap work and tireless follow up throughout the afternoon.
Rounding out the Blues to feature in the Round 7 Team of the Week is defender-turned-forward Nicola Stevens, her 15 disposals, six score involvements and two goals a standout performance.
Her second year in the forward line for the Blues, Stevens has settled into her offensive groove in 2021.
