THE TEAM is in for Carlton VFLW’s Round 3 clash with Darebin.

The Blues will be looking to register their first win of the season back home at Ikon Park this Saturday afternoon, with a number of changes heading into the clash.

With the match kicking off at 2.00pm, the VFLW Blues will be bolstered by three returning AFLW-listed players for the clash with the Falcons.

Bluebaggers will get their first glimpse of dynamic forward Brooke Walker this weekend after sitting out the beginning of the AFLW season with a foot injury.

Walker has been named on the interchange for the clash, building game time ahead of the remaining rounds of the AFLW season and a finals campaign still on the table.

Courtney Jones will make her first appearance of the season proper having overcome an ankle injury sustained in February's practice match with the Western Bulldogs.

Jones booted three goals in the scratch match before going down with the late injury and will be looking to get back to her scoring ways on Saturday afternoon.

Second-year defender Brooke Vernon will also make an appearance in this week's VFLW line-up, returning to football after overcoming a calf injury sustained in the AFLW Blues' Round 2 clash.

Vernon and Jones will be eager to bring their best, with AFLW selection the goal for the remaining two rounds of the home-and-away season.

Winnie Laing will also make a return to the VFLW side, with the 2020 draftee rounding out the AFLW representative inclusions on Saturday afternoon.
