CARLTON will take its 2021 campaign interstate for the first time this season with the AFL today releasing the Round 5 AFLW fixture.
The Blues will make the trip to Launceston to face North Melbourne at University of Tasmania Stadium on Saturday 27 February at 7.10PM
Saturday’s clash will be the first time the Blues have faced the Kangaroos since Round 1 of the 2019 season, the only time these two sides have faced each other in an AFLW match their short history.
Carlton’s would-be preliminary final opponent before the 2020 season was called off, North Melbourne will be eager to get its season back on track after consecutive losses.
Saturday’s clash will be just the second time the Blues’ have made the journey south, first facing the Kangaroos at North Hobart Oval in 2019.
