“It was a good chance to showcase how we play as a team,” Ingram said.
“We really enjoyed it and took a lot out of it.”
Thrilled with how her teammates gelled together, Ingram credited their connection to the solid team dynamic that exists off the field and the supportive environment at Carlton.
“All of us girls get along really well which shows at training and in games,” she said.
Focusing on her own preseason efforts, Ingram was pleased with her ability to push through an entire match in the centre.

A great opportunities for all aspiring AFLW players! ??
With the change in competition structure this year meaning the AFLW and VFLW seasons will run side by side, Ingram said it would be different having the opportunity to play with AFLW listed players.
“It’ll be interesting, but it’s definitely good to have the AFLW girls in our side, that’s for sure,” she said.
The Blues now look to fine tune elements of their game as the start of the VFLW season looms at the end of the month.
“We’ll keep building on things at training and as we bring everything together it will come and will show in Round 1.”
