DAVID Teague will return to Preston City Oval for the Northern Blues’ first President’s Luncheon of 2018.
Teague will come back to his former home where he coached for three seasons between 2008 and 2010.
Teague spent the first two of those years as a playing-coach, before retiring on the field while retaining his senior coaching commitments.
His last game as senior coach of Northern was the 2010 Grand Final against North Ballarat: the club’s second in as many years under the former defender.
Teague was also a best-and-fairest winner at Carlton in 2004, while also being voted the AFL’s Most Courageous Player in the same year.
He returned to the Blues in the 2017/18 off-season as forwards coach, after time at West Coast, St Kilda and Adelaide.
Tickets for the event at the Grandstand Function Centre cost $50, with guests entitled to a two-course meal, entry to the game and entertainment.
