AFTER joining the Carlton family in August as an official AFLW partner, wheezo will now step up its support of the Club’s AFLW side.
The wheezo logo will be proudly emblazoned on the back of the Navy Blue guernsey next season as well as training gear and official club apparel.
wheezo is an innovative asthma management solution developed in Australia to assist asthma patients with the management of their condition beyond the clinic. wheezo includes a device and app that records and analyses breath sounds for the presence of wheeze, in the same way a doctor uses a stethoscope to listen for wheeze.
The non-invasive, handheld device is easy to use and child friendly. wheezo allows you to record breath sounds and document other important asthma symptoms. This information can then be shared with your health professionals. Click here to find out more.
Carlton CEO Cain Liddle said the Club was proud to welcome wheezo as an AFLW Co-Major partner, with today’s announcement yet another sign of the Blues’ AFLW program continuing to go from strength to strength.
“wheezo is genuine about its commitment to having a positive impact on the community, which is a philosophy that perfectly aligns with our AFLW program,” Liddle said.
“Our AFLW team has continued to take significant steps forward in recent years and to have wheezo commit to joining us as a Co-Major partner is yet another testament to the high regard in which our AFLW side is held both on and off the field.
“Our players take great pride in being role models for the next generation of aspiring footballers. This support from wheezo helps to make that a reality and gives our members and supporters even more reason to look forward to football being back at Ikon Park in 2021.”
wheezo is a product from e-Health company Respiri, whose CEO Marjan Mikel expressed the company’s decision to partner with the Blues.
“We are excited to play a significant role in AFLW with the announcement of our Co-Major sponsorship of the Carlton Football Club’s AFLW program,” Mikel said.
“Our commitment to the health of Australians has never been stronger with the recent launch of wheezo, our innovative technology to assist with asthma management.
“We believe that this Co-Major sponsorship with the Blues will further support our mission to improve asthma management by providing patients with a unique medical technology to improve asthma management in the everyday real world that we live in.”
