THE CARLTON College of Sport will host an information session for its recently launched Football Development Program next Tuesday 17 November.
Designed for aspiring male and female footballers, the program provides the opportunity to undertake an AFL-designed football program at the Carlton Football Club, while simultaneously attaining a higher education diploma from La Trobe University.
Kicking off from 5:00pm AEST, the information session will give you the chance to learn about the structure of the program, entry requirements and the screening process for aspiring footballers.
Created by Carlton Football Club high performance staff, the Football Development Program is designed to complement the normal training activities of developing footballers, while ensuring they are prepared for life outside of the game.
Students who participate in the program will study a Diploma of Sport Coaching and Development or a Diploma of Elite Sport Business, while developing their football skills, physical attributes, and game understanding by working closely with Carlton Football Club high performance staff.
