COULD Carlton’s all-time Brownlow list have a significant overhaul on Sunday night?
The Blues’ top 10 could welcome a new name this weekend, with Patrick Cripps in line to join the Club’s greats.
With 75 votes from his 101 games so far, Cripps - currently in 12th position - needs seven votes on Sunday night to tie Anthony Koutoufides’ tally of 82.
It’s no surprise that Cripps is a proven vote-getter, polling 20 and 26 votes in the last two years.
He’s not the only Blue who could make even further inroads this weekend, with Marc Murphy just four votes shy of the Carlton podium.
With predecessor Chris Judd on 116 votes, Murphy will be looking to poll in games against Gold Coast and Essendon in particular.
After surpassing Bruce Doull and Justin Madden last year, a further four votes will see Murphy join Judd in third, behind Craig Bradley (144) and Alex Jesaulenko.
