THE CARLTON College of Sport will host an information session for its recently launched Football Development Program next Wednesday 16 September.
Designed for aspiring male and female footballers, the program provides the opportunity to undertake an AFL-designed football program at the Carlton Football Club, while simultaneously attaining a higher education diploma from La Trobe University.
Kicking off from 5:30pm AEST, the information session will give you the chance to learn about the structure of the program, entry requirements and the screening process for aspiring footballers.
With Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps and Head of Development Luke Power to join the virtual session as special guests, be sure to register your attendance now!
Created by Carlton Football Club high performance staff, the Football Development Program is designed to complement the normal training activities of developing footballers, while ensuring they are prepared for life outside of the game.
Students who participate in the program will study a Diploma of Sport Coaching and Development or a Diploma of Elite Sport Business, while developing their football skills, physical attributes, and game understanding by working closely with Carlton Football Club high performance staff.
