CARLTON will return to Friday night football when it launches Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

The Blues have learned their fate with the latest instalment of the rolling fixture announced, with the Gold Coast Suns waiting in the wings for Round 13.

The game will be broadcast live on Channel 7, with the game to kick off at 7:20pm local time (7:50pm AEST).

With Carlton having its mid-season bye this week, look back on the best goals of 2020 to date.

It'll be the first in a two-day special at TIO Stadium, with the Blues and Suns to meet a day before the Dreamtime clash between Essendon and Richmond the following night.

The Round 13 match will be Carlton's first game outside of Western Australia in four weeks, with West Coast and Fremantle to come this Sunday and next Saturday respectively.

With the game to take place in Sir Doug Nicholls Round, the Blues will once again wear their 2020 Indigenous guernsey: keep your eyes on Carlton Media in the coming weeks for the launch.
